This is a favorite around our place!
1 quart raw milk
1/2 cup raw sugar
1/4 cup unbleached flour
1 tsp of vanilla
In a 2 quart, heavy bottomed sauce pan, whisk the sugar and flour together.
Over medium/high heat, whisk in milk.
Whisk constantly until hot and thick, about 5-10 minutes.
Once it is thick enough to coat the back of a spoon, remove from heat.
Stir in 1 tsp of vanilla.
Add ¼ cup cocoa powder with flour and sugar for chocolate pudding.
Add 1 cup grated coconut at the end with the vanilla for coconut cream pudding.
Use your imagination! You can turn this pudding into any flavor you want!
We love to make vanilla pudding and mix fresh berries or peaches in with it.
